content management system - Choosing a CMS: EPiServer vs Orchard vs SiteCore vs Umbraco -

increasingly, have noticed number of content management systems in use. have familiarity sitecore. have read literature on umbraco. got wind of orchard other day. have heard positive feedback episerver. move role uses it.

do these differ vastly in features , price? has led choose 1 (or several) on others?

edit

i did brief review of so-called free cmss here: on free microsoft compatible content management systems

reasons ditched orchard when developing 50k page website: saying no orchard

i can comment on sitecore , bit on umbraco knowledge of others using it:

sitecore enterprise level web cms "enterprise price tag." it's extensible, has lot of developer/community support, , developer friendly. structure of content based on tree of nodes parent-children relationships. sitecore known in wcm community leader in content management , rated companies sch forrester research, etc.

based on previous research , conversations friends, umbraco similar sitecore. has lower price compared sitecore not complete rip off. umbraco built on asp.net sitecore.

here's three-part series on sitecore vs. umbraco developer.
