windows - System programming on C -


i want try develop system software, drivers devices. know c low level programming language , popular in scope. compiler better use (only c, not c++)? , libraries used system related stuff? os windows.

if wan windows driver development, should @ wdk - windows driver kit. should have of need including tools, headers , libraries (and documentation).
