sql - Strategy for modeling a multiple web app subscription system -


i working on system using php/mysql allowing users subscribe monthly various, small browser based web apps. each app have different subscription terms , plans. apps built , reside within same framework.

i in modeling phase looking make system flexible possible wheren terms 1 plan next vary. thoughts on how elegantly model this?

rather building using zuora.com. please note haven't used these guys or have affiliation, remember reading services starting emerge web-app publishers needing simple billing/metering solution.

of course, need consider payment gateways support, think zuora behind scenes.
