objective c - How does ios know which xib/nib to load? -


i have ios app has target of both iphone , ipad. have class has .xib both iphone , ipad. how app know xib/nib? magic?

if files named foo.xib , foo~ipad.xib, magic code in either uiviewcontroller or nsbundle appends ~ipad end of name when current device ipad. it's nothing hugely complex, convenience.
