vb.net - Connect to Oracle 11g using VS2010.net Drivers/Cleints -


hey trying redistribute app uses oracle 11g:

imports oracle.dataaccess.client

the problem having not run on machine doesnt seem have correct drivers looking for. when install odac 11.2 release 3 (11.2.0.2.1) oracle developer tools visual studio on test vm works fine thats 230+mb file download , install! not mention if user has oracle 10/11g on machine may mess current connections/etc installing setup file.

is there setup package can install has oracle data provider .net 2.0 11.2.0.2.0 or whatever needing odac 11.2 release 3 file.

so need go fixing problem great! :)

assuming on 32bit environment ought able use odac112021xcopy_32bit.zip 50.5 mb (53,019,552 bytes)

the corresponding 64-bit odac112021xcopy_x64.zip - 53.3 mb (55,955,853 bytes)

the files smaller odt tools work. here dated (but should on correct track) how-to
