jquery - Javascript Detect an href change -


i trying have javascript check see if background loaded (loaded jquery.ready function, if background or background div loaded want set 2 href links, if background fails load or goes wrong hrefs set nothing or #. have done few different ways , tried mix , match code seems can't work right. great, have search high , low on google, here , have tried while make code work in 1 way or another.

i'm guess when background, you're refering background image. don't believe there javascript events related background image loading accomplish effect mentioned. jquery onready , load functions allow bind document itself, , fire once entire page , external resources have loaded. however, might help:
