how go providing users ability build custom avatar character, yahoo! avatars?

edit - let me more specific yahoo! avatars does:
lets create avatar selecting face, hair style, eyes, etc.
i'm looking for.

i interested in:

  • libraries, free or paid
  • outsourcing external website, provided can integrated our website
  • any other suggestions

there's my avatar editor makes wii-style (and wii-compatible) avatars. it's flash based , it's on googlecode mit-license.
